The criminal activities among teenagers are increasing day by day. What do you think are the reasons behind this alarming trend?

It is a common fact today that the rate of anti-social activities committed by adolescents is increasing day by day.  The factors behind this trend are many and varied. 

This will be shown by taking into account the main reasons in detail and, how they have given rise to the situation more crucial.

In the first place, the main reason is the negative influence of television and social media; because the maturity of the videos and TV shows focus on crime-related activities in society.  This, in turn, attracts young people to get cheap popularity through involvement in illegal activities.  For example, some teenagers make videos of anti-social activities and upload them on various social media to get publicity. This attitude of youngsters creates a lot of nuisance in the society. 

Next, poor parental guidance for teenage children forms another major reason for this problem. This is because of the busy lifestyle and nuclear family structure, which leaves young children unattended by their parents who are key persons to correct the behaviour of their offspring.  For instance, teenage children from broken family patterns, and children of job oriented parents, more commonly involved in illegal activities due to poor guidance from their elders.

Finally, affinity towards getting rich through effortless money-making ideas forms the main reason for the increased crime rate among young people. The main reason for this, youths nowadays dream to own expensive items which are not within their budget but they try to process it through illegal ways. Further, the hard-working principle of money-making is no more trusted by adolescents, who in contrast believe in a quick method to get rich in no time.

After analysing the areas of major reasons, it is evident that this situation is the outcome of the above factors.  So, the offences committed by teenagers are increasing at a high rate in recent days.
