Exploring outer space requires huge monetary support through national and international funding. The spaceships used in such activities cannot be reused again as they get demolished after a period of time. Rockets and satellites, for instance, cannot be reused in the future. The finance used for the research and development of space exploration activities thus end up without any use for humanity.

Many problems associated with human suffering requires a considerable amount of money to alleviate it. The funds which are used on aimless space activities can be fruitfully used to tackle these well-known problems of our society. For example, hunger and malnutrition can be eliminated from our surroundings by providing good food and treatment for the needed.
