In this technological world, the number of new inventions has been increasing. Please describe a new invention, and determine whether it will bring advantages or disadvantages.

There has been an ongoing debate on whether the advantages of the invention of a mobile phone in this technological world will outweigh its disadvantages.

While there are strong arguments supporting both sides, I strongly believe that there are higher benefits of this invention that will overcome its drawbacks.

There are various arguments in favor of my stance. First and foremost, our future will be filled with artificial intelligence making us more than likely to be dependent on our mobile phone in the future. Secondly, the invention of mobile phone has dramatically increased our reliance on it because it is a one-stop shop with various features packaged inside such as calculator, alarm clock, notepad, camera and much more.

On the other hand, there are a few demerits of this invention that cannot simply be ignored. Scientists are worried about the fact that increasing use of mobile phones can severely damage eyesight and eye-related problems are expected to rise significantly in the next decade. Not only that, it has also been recently found that higher use of mobile phones hinders our creativity and affects our thinking capacity, consequently making the mind duller than before.

In conclusion, from the arguments outlined and explained above, we can conclude that the benefits of mobile phones are too great to ignore.
